Technology Associates, Inc. - Apple Authorized Service Center

Superb experience with an IPhone 11 Pro Max battery replacement in 2026. I originally had an appt with Best Buy for this battery replacement, but they said my phone was “too vintage” even though it receives up to date updates. Apple suggested Technology Associates, which is a smaller Apple official repair shop in Iowa City. Craig took care of me, and was on top of securing an actual Apple official battery directly from Apple. He even kept my original tempered screen on, which is super impressive work, from myself who is familiar with tech work. I without question would come back here for any Apple needs for repair, and would recommend Craig to anyone.

I regret using them. In the future I am only going to work directly with Apple on any repairs. Edit: I spoke with the owner and told him how unhappy I was. I called Apple and told them how unhappy I was with Technology Associates. It seemed to me that once I had Technology Associates do the repair Apple could not interfere with his decisions on how to repair my computer. The owner of Technology Associates did nothing to try and work with me even though he knew I was furious. I will never use them for any repair. I'll ship my computer to Apple or drive to Des Moines to get the work done there at the closest Apple Store.
