Sunshine Plumbing & Backflow are among the elite in customer service, professionalism, explanation of the project & costs. From 8:15am, "Saint Jude" (their employee - licensed plumber) was curtious, thorough in what the estimate would cover, & even answered my questions should I have another incident. Ms. Beau from their office was the opener & closer for any future business between myself & Sunshine as she was so easy to work with. A sincerely GOOD business can be a rarity in BR, & even though my situation wasn't as bad as it could have been, this business was every bit of every letter of their name. They were "SUNSHINE on a cloudy day..." & a God sent blessing when I desperately needed one.

I cannot recommend Sunshine Plumbing due to a major misdiagnosis that cost me a functional bathtub. Their plumber, Sam, performed a "leak detection/pan test" and identified a hair-thin crack in my tub as the source. Based on his professional advice, I authorized a $6,000 demolition and replacement. Once the tub was ripped out, the subfloor was found to be 100% dry. When confronted with the dry floor, the company returned and began pointing fingers at various "new" issues with the shower that were never discussed in the initial visit—a clear attempt to cover their tracks. We later performed FOUR separate static flood tests on the shower pan ourselves and with other professionals, and the water didn't move an inch. We ultimately hired a different professional who correctly identified the SHOWER (not the tub) as the actual source, proving the bathtub demolition was completely unnecessary. Even after being proven wrong, Sunshine Plumbing refused to refund their "leak detection" fee. They led us and charged us to destroy a functional part of our home based on guesswork. If you want a correct diagnosis that doesn't involve unnecessary destruction and a massive headache, call someone else.
