Service last few months is horrific. Had oil change and they did not put filter on right so oil leaked out while driving it. Called and took back, got there near but not past closing time but door was locked and could see people inside and they saw us but turned out lights and left. So had to put keys in overnight drop. This was a Friday. Sat am waited hours no call, called them around noon and they still had not even looked at it. 2 hours later they say that gasket wasn't seated right so that was the leak. Barely cleaned any oil off undercarriage. There was a check engine light on, I assumed it was low oil pressure but turns out it was not and they didn't bother to check just cleared it. Start getting transmission issues shifting out of 3rd. Take it back and they say it was not caused by anything they did and the computer shows a transmission error code. They would submit to warranty and let me know in a few days. Week later call back and they claim to be still waiting on warranty. Another week and another call and it sounds like they didn't submit the warranty claim correct so have yo start over. Given a service date a few days later and promised a loaner car. Go to drop of car and no loaner, offered ride but waited and never got, then turns out tech can't work on car that day anyway. Offered reschedule 3 wks later and told car will need taken apart with warranty over a few days to diagnose problem. Gave up and took to different dealer, got answer in about 1 hour to problem and about 3 days ok to have new transmission by warranty. Oh btw, car less than 2 yrs and 20k miles so still full warranty. Service manager acted and sounded overwhelmed and thought I heard him say he was an oil change tech just a few weeks ago so is trying to figure things out as he goes. Waiting area is nice, they have decent selection of cars, but last 3 purchases they came nowhere close to other dealers. Now this service issue has me done with them.
The staff here were extremely kind and patient. They answered my questions and were very supportive. I will continue recommending them to my family and friends. This will be my only dealership that I shop at. Thank you all so much!
I wish there was a number lower than 1. I had $2200 worth of work done by an unlicensed tech at another auto shop. They broke pieces resulting in van door opening on freeway with daughter in that seat. I immediately let the other shop know and i wanted it fixed safely at a dealership. I was given Steve as an advisor. You can check my phone phone August to November still never received a call back from Spitzer. I have a 20+ year friend Terry Workman, 6 weeks after vehicle is ssitting i ask what's up? 6weeks at dealer and vehicle wasn't even written up yet. Greg promised to call me the next day with an answer( left 2 voicemail and never recieved a response as of this moment) I went down multiple times, vehicle was left unlocked with door stuck open for 6 weeks never moved even in adverse weather. About 7 weeks in i get a call from the original place saying pick up your vehicle. Spitzer determined nothing wrong. I BELIEVE MY CAR WAS NEVER LOOKED AT . WOULD LIKE TO SEE VIDEO PROOF OF MY DOOR BEING TAKEN OFF 3 TIMES AS WAS TOLD TO ME. You are liars. and having 2 people ive known for decades lie to my face is crushing. I really needed a trusted dealership to show how the other place broke my vehicle and almost killed my daughhter. This may be a lawsuit claim so i would like the video evidence soiner rather than later.
Spitzer’s Jeep Service Center (which includes Chrysler, Dodge, and Ram) in Mansfield continues to be the best dealer service center. Recently had my car serviced for oil change, inspection, tire rotation, etc. The service is always exceptional and helps me to feel very confident when I’m back on the road. I do a lot of out-of-town travel and Spitzer is really focused on making sure you are as safe as possible on the road with the quality of vehicle care they provide. They are also customer focused, which I’ve mentioned in previous reviews, which I think really sets them apart from other dealer service centers. You are as important to them as the vehicle you are driving and they explain services provided, maintenance procedures, costs, etc so that you as a customer are not left confused and/or financially bereft. Their frontline staff and mechanics receive high quality training and can answer any questions you have. If you want to be confident on the road (especially with holiday travel) you should definitely consider Spitzer. I plan on sticking with the Jeep brand solely for this particular service center.
