Specialized Refinishing Co.

Had the company come out Dec 2022 to refinish the bathtub. It has not been a full year and I noticed a crack in the paint. They offered a lifetime guarantee at purchase so I called. An appointment was made for them to come out and fix it. They were supposedly booked about a month or so out before they could come. Okay, fine... I understand. Several weeks before my appointment I received a text message stating my appointment was canceled because they have no technicians. WHAT!? I tried calling and it went to voicemail. I get things happens, but I have yet to receive a call back or ANY sort of solution. Company guarantees I suppose only help if the company has integrity to follow through on it. Based on my experience, save yourself the frustration and pick another company.

*Edited to add: They had no issue with my request to come out to re-sand. I am now very satisfied with the finished look and appreciate that they care about the quality of their work, even after the check has been collected! I wanted to love the finished product, but am left feeling a bit underwhelmed. It's certainly an improvement, but during the initial job of reglazing the tub/shower, the paint gun malfunctioned causing excess drippage that needed to be sanded after curing. They were very responsive in coming out to fix it, however, there is now a difference in texture and look between the sanded areas and the original glaze. I wasn't home during the re-sanding so I didn't get to point it out at the time. Overall, we had a good experience with this company, I'm just not sure about the finished product. I think that if the gun hadn't malfunctioned during the initial glazing, I would have been satisfied with how it turned out. I understand they can't control what happened - but I do think it impacted the finished result. I plan to wait and see how it holds up over a little bit of time before completing the next bathroom.

This business gave our family the following, the tech was 1.professional when I asked did he have a mask before entering my home he said no and I gave him one. That may me feel good that it was not a problem for him to put on the mask. 2 the quality of work was impressive 3 he was on time and I loved that finally I will refer Specialized Refinishing Co. to my family, friends and neighbors.
