I was looking for a board to build a box as a wedding present and was in the area so I came here thinking it was a lumber yard. This place actually builds custom furniture and cabinets to customer spec and I was referred to Yukon Lumber in Norfolk. However, the man who helped me (I’m going to assume the owner) offered to show me some of their scraps in the back. He even planed it and cut it in half so it could fit in my car. As I was walking out, I asked how much and he let me have it for free. I’m not advocating to coming here to get free scraps because that’s not what this place is about (seriously don’t go here to get free scraps). However if you want top notch customer service for some custom built cabinets or furniture, I can 100% guarantee this is the place to go. The man was very nice and offered his time to me for no money in return. A very rare occurrence in todays world.
