UPDATE: everything was worked out between me and the amazing staff that they have working there I retract my previous statement of I will never be back. They do care about their customers in a huge way, and I was fortunate enough to have them vouch for me and find a fair solution for the both of us so I am very happy with the way that they worked with me on this. I’m gonna leave the last bit here just so that people can understand the grievance I had in the beginning. GRIEVANCE: i am a frequent customer and usually well taken care of here, but I traded in a shotgun and purchased another ar style shotgun, which had nothing but problems. I bring the gun back in to inform them of the issue and they gave me a gift card with the full amount in return to spend on anything in the store, but I am not allowed to use that gift card to pull items out of pawn (per owner) Extremely disappointed last time i give them Business after the gift card is redeemed

I had the most heartwarming experience with Heather and Ashley at the U street location today. While doing my rosary last night a chain broke. I was devastated. Today my mission was to find a jeweler to fix it, I had to run a few errands and was going right past Sols on U street so I thought maybe I'll just stop in to see if they do repair. Met Ashley who was so kind and although they did not do repair there she was going to call the store on Center street to be sure they took care of me right away, I'm sure my tears did not help but she was so understanding of the value this rosary was to me, as she was explaining how to get there, I'm 81 and can't find my way out of a paper sack, Heather walked by and asked if she could help. We explained it to her, that it was my grandmother's rosary, and I just couldn't leave it and it was probably my fault for praying too hard. She asked if she could have it for a minute, and in that short time came back and had fixed it. I had said I didn't care if it matched, was too big just if it could be fixed and she did it! I would gladly have paid but they said no so I asked if I could pray for them and they said yes. So as I am getting ready for my nightly rosary and blessings Heather and Ashley are right on the top of my prayer chain. God Bless and keep the safe always.
