We purchased our home 3 years and had an old gas log fireplace that was dated, inefficient, and had no blower. John was super helpful as we looked at gas inserts. He gave us all the options, but didn't try to upsell us. The insert has been a great addition, it looks great and warms the room nicely. What most impressed me working with them was John. He works long hours to make sure clients are happy and is also on the lower end of pricing. I had a concern with our chimney 2 years after the install. John sent someone out for free (even though he didn't have to) to check it out, and they showed me it was not an install issue but something related to the chimney design at the time. If anyone ever asks where to go for a fireplace, I tell them they have to see Fireplace by Design first.
