Excellent customer service. They seem to know a lot about shoes, and what fits well and what doesn't based on the foot type. They were also honest with me. I was looking for a pair of hiking boots and tried on a pair of Lowas. They seemed like good quality boots, but the staff person told me a different type of boot, that they didn't have, might fit my foot better. I appreciated the knowledge and their candor!
Great quality boots snd shoes here. Finding a good selection of Red Wing boots was very unexpected - those will last you 20 years.
Dropped off two pairs of shoes to be fixed: One pair needed new heels put on (new heels were provided) this work wasn’t done and I was refunded. But I wasn’t told that the work wasn’t done, I was only told I’d been overcharged. It’s a good thing I checked before wearing them because the heel was cracked and dangerous to wear. The second pair needed the sole re-glued. Second time I wore this pair the “fix” was clearly not done or not done properly. Terrible work, a waste of money.
Took in my favorite hiking shoes on a Monday as the heel tread was wearing quite thin. Not knowing much about shoe repair, I was expecting a full resole, and an expensive one at that. Nope! Instead they offered to put new tread just on the heel (the rest of the shoe was fine, plenty of life left in the pair), and charged me $29 for it - extremely fair, IMO. By Friday my shoes were ready. Good as new, they're on my feet as I write this review. I'll definitely give Sedlak's my business in the future - repairing old faithfuls is far more sustainable than buying new ones!
