Salk's Ace Hardware & Marine

Completed an online order in the morning before opening. Received confirmation that it was ready to be picked up after the store opened. There is a designated Curb Pick-up parking space. (Internet can be a little spotty therefore I went in to inform them I was there for an online order pick-up. I was going to seek and purchase another item anyway so no big deal 😊). Greeted right at the door; staff was so courteous and friendly. Thank you so much. Highly recommend! 👍👍

Monthly I recieve rewards cupons from Salks Ace. I also regularly use them on Eviro-8 bricks which I use in my wood stove. Today, at check out, I was told I cannot use the rewards coupon on fuel items. The manager agreed with the clerk. I put the product back and went home. I reviewed the exclusions as posted on the Ace web site. There is nothing about fuel. The manafacture's name was not on the exclusion list as well. I went back and talked to the manager - Joe. He said basically they can exclude what ever they want regrardless of the list. This is not right. I live in Wakefield RI and have for many years. I have many friends and I will go out of my way to contact them asking for a boycot of this store. Consumers have rights. What Salk's Ace in Wakefield is doing is wrong. For $5 that manager should have just let it go. I'd like the Salks to explain to me what their policy is..... after the owner response.... Why send coupons that cannot be used. If you look at the exclusion list of products and manufacturers, it looks like you walked up and down all the aisles to complile your list. Then if you missed something you just say its excluded anyway.
