I called today to see about bringing in my ipad. The gentleman on the phone suggested I try several software updates I could do myself before bringing it in to avoid unnecessary expense. I did. They worked. My ipad works, and I'll be sure to reach out to Frame in the future for computer repair needs.
Jim and his son have been fixing/servicing my computers since at least 2013. They are always competent, informative, pleasant and well priced. (and never make you feel stupid even when you are about computers). Jim says "I don't know about your business, why should you know about mine". What a kind thing to say!!
I have used their services before. This time to clean up the mess I made. All done through taking control of my computer. Problem was fixed in about 30 minutes. Excellent and professonal service Richard Lutman
I went in to get a second opinion on a broken laptop. Jim listened to my description of the troubleshooting I had done, and confirmed that having him attempt to repair it would most likely be more expensive than the laptop was worth on the open market. He took a look at the laptop himself, and then he looked up the service tag to see if I could manage a manufacturer warranty repair and showed me listings of the current value to buy a used model. He even gave me advice on parts to buy if I wanted to keep using the hard drives in my old laptop. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. He even made a few gaming jokes that to my embarrassment I didn't get! We talked for 20 minutes and he didn't charge me a dime. I know it shouldn't be a surprise, but finding someone who would give you an honest assessment that would discourage you from spending money with them and then listening to and answering your other concerns without being impatient knowing they're not going to get paid by you was nice. I would go back without hesitation for future issues.
