Quick Phone Fix & Computer Repair - Pontiac / Waterford

I’ve been coming to this store for the 17 years, and I can’t say enough good things. I’ve brought them over ten iPhones with various issues, multiple MacBooks, 2 PCs, and they are always incredibly helpful and have great integrity in their work. I never feel the repair is less than the original product and I find their prices are always very reasonable. All the staff are very friendly and professional as well. I send all of my family and friends here.

I brought in my MacBook and told them how it was overheating and dying fast, and they recommended replacing the battery. After that didn't work and they put in another battery, thinking that would fix the issue, and said they will have to charge me extra for a diagnosis if it doesn't hold when they are the ones that recommended the battery change, which I know it won't hold because it still is overheating like crazy, so at this point it makes me feel like I should've just went to Apple or geeksquad. They fail to communicate effectively with the customer throughout the process and will do the bare minimum on your device. Of course, I do not know what is wrong if you tell me it's the battery, I'll go, oh, okay, switch it. That is where you should've stepped in and done that diagnosis, not after 160 some dollars spent. I let them fix my elite controller also, and it didn't last for even a day before I had to take it back. Overall, super unprofessional. I would've been happier if they had properly diagnosed and actually fixed my laptop from the beginning, not just done the bare minimum. And I DO NOT write reviews for me to write one this extensive has to speak for something. I'm not trying to burn this company; I work right next to them, but it feels like they definitely tried to burn me, will have to take to MacBook somewhere else to fix the issue now. Not even a bad price, just bad communication. If they had diagnosed it the first day they got it, I would've had my MacBook 2 weeks earlier, and all my Google Chrome settings wiped all my passwords just gone, as well as some Apple settings.
