Our Viking refrigerator has had many problems in the past 2 years. The fan on both the refrigerator, and freezer kept going out. We contacted the local store where we purchased it and they were unable to make the repairs. We were referred to Promise Appliance and Brandon and his team came to do the repairs. I was so happy/relieved to see how very competent, and knowledgable Brandon and his team were. Brandon took special care to not damage any floors, cabinetry, or countertops. Promise Appliance also followed up to make sure the repairs were doing ok. I had many questions regarding our other Viking appliances and Brandon was happy to answer all of them. I just love how professional Brandon and his team are. I give Promise Appliance a 5 star review. I would HIGHLY recommend this company for all of your appliance repairs.
James was a huge help in repairing a refrigerator that had been dead for several months. He had all of the necessary parts on his truck and was efficient with his time. He also gave us a tip about repairing some other appliances which had been giving us trouble and went out of his way to help out. Thanks!
I purchased a Blue star refrigerator in 2023, and have had a few major problems since. The last one resulted in the evaporator system needing to be replaced. I called Promise Appliance. An initial diagnosis was made and on Tuesday the 6th of January 2026 James Ferguson, Master Technician from Promise Appliance came to replace the unit. We were so impressed with James’ professionalism as well as his extensive knowledge of our refrigerator and the unit he was about to replace. He began by giving us a complete explanation of exactly what he would be doing, along with what we could expect and the amount of time it would take him. He made sure to cover any part of the kitchen where he would be working or would need to place his tools. As promised James completed the job in a timely manner, discussed further what we should expect and if there were any problems to call him immediately. He also advised us that he would follow up in 24 hours, which he did, to ensure the refrigerator was working properly. The refrigerator has been perfect since. No problems at all. James also noted that the refrigerator was not level, he spent extra time to take care of that, over and above what his responsibilities were that day! Again, my husband and I were so impressed with his care and his competence. We have, with other companies, experienced damage while they were woking on an appliance to cabinetry or flooring. He left my house in the same condition it was when he arrived. I said to him, “James I would have never known you were here”! It is such a pleasure to have someone in your home like James who you immediately know, this guy knows what he is doing!!

Eric Gilbert has been helping us with multiple issues we had with our Viking stove and microwave. Eric took our drawer microwave out and showed me why it failed. He told me he couldn't repair it. He also said that the drawer is made by Sharp, even though it's branded Viking, and he explained that I could get an equivalent for much cheaper. He recommended Mountain High Appliance, and the salesman there confirmed Eric's advice. Result: new equivalent drawer for 1/2 the price.
Eric also fixed some issues with the ignitors on the stovetop, replaced some lights that had worked loose so I could see when the oven came on, and he replaced the oven door which had trim that was not flush. I'm not sure whether the original installation was really top notch, but I'm very pleased with operation now.

Brandon and his team get 5 stars for their persistance. They got repeated bad information from the manufacturer as to the cause of our oven problems. The manufacturer kept sending new expensive parts to be installed, but Brandon would test the existing components and confirm they were working properly, so no need to install new ones and charge me for them. Brandon followed his own hunch and kept testing other components until he found the culprit: a simple relay that was not compatible with the new control board the manufacturer insisted we needed. Thank you, Brandon, for not giving up and not letting the bad advice/support from the manufacturer stop you from solving our problem!
