My right side of my refrigerator was not working and I started fretting! I was losing food and of course money. And since the problem came about roughly a week ago, I really couldn't go grocery shopping like I needed to. I had called a few places and they all required a service fee just to come out and diagnose it but if you hired them to do the job they would apply to the repair. After looking online I already knew what was wrong with it and I didn't want to have someone come that I had to pay a service fee and then they quote me for a $200 to $300 job. But I continued searching for a refrigerator repairman online and I was blessed to find Nbili. He answers his phone right away and he wanted to know exactly what was going on with my fridge and I explained it to him and he said something that shocked me! He said to me, before you spend money for a service you may not need, I want you to clear the bottom of your fridge and take a look at your vents to make sure that there is not something blocking the flow of air. I did as he told me but that wasn't the problem. So I called back and told him my findings and he then let me know that he would come by to look at it. He came the very next day and he added me to the end of his already full schedule. He thoroughly checked out my fridge not only on the side that was not working but the freezer side as well. He discovered that it needed a damper which is what I had discovered after researching online. He told me that the part would be at least $100 but if I wanted to go that route, he would have to buy the part and come back another day to install it. Or the other option would be that he could do a modification to the broken damper and it will work as if it were new, that way it would be cheaper for you and you will get the same results as if you bought it brand new and you don't have to wait. Well, I chose the later for him to do his minor modification to my damper to save a lot of money, without having to wait for his return to install the new part. I couldn't take another night of losing food. Well, once he began working I stood and watched as he explained what he was doing and I literally witnessed him make a wonderfully insane modification to my damper that I can only describe as a MacGyver fix! He had me feel the cold air coming through my vent so that I could see the rapid change from warm to cold. He did it! He fixed my fridge and he made it so very affordable that it didn't break my bank. Now my fridge is colder than it was before. I so recommend Nbili to anyone for their appliance repair!!
