Purchased flooring here. The flooring is beautiful. That said, the installers just showed up on my doorstep one day. Rob, the sales guy didn’t bother calling to let us know when they were coming. We were not prepared. Our basement wasn’t cleaned out. My husband was coming off a grave shift and had to scramble to get ready. They also put a $442 floor prep buffer in the bid that they assured us would be refunded if the floor didn’t need that much prep. They had planned for a full day just to prep and didn’t even use an hour. They said we’d be refunded. I have texts from Rob saying he’d send out the refund in March. Five months later still no refund.
This company is the worst, specifically one employee named Trent. He is lazy and doesn’t respond to his clients. He was super great when we were initially shopping and placed an order for around 8,000 dollars worth of carpet. After the install I had some issues with the carpet, there were some bald spots in several of the rooms. They also pulled the carpet too tight and you could see the subfloor. He said he was going to put in a claim with the manufacturer. Then he ghosted me. Never heard back and he never responded to my messages. About a year after we got our new carpet, my daughter had an orange popsicle melt all over the carpet. It needed to be replaced. I called Trent about it in October. He didn’t respond to my texts. I had to call him several times to get him to come measure. He finally did. Said he ordered the carpet and it would be a few weeks. I texted him a month later at the end of November. No response. I figured it wasn’t in yet so waited until after the holidays. I called him the end of January and he said he hadn’t even ordered it yet. He then claimed he finally ordered the carpet at the end of Jan, and I didn’t hear from him again. I texted him 6 weeks later at the beginning of March to get another update. He doesn’t respond for a few days. At this point I’m fed up. It’s been 5 months of trying to get one room of carpet replaced. Don’t trust that this company will stand behind their warranties, because they have zero customer service. After spending a small fortune on carpet, I’d expect at least a response to my calls and messages. Save yourself a headache and shop somewhere that values their customers.
