Modern Times Upholstery and Repairs

We struggled with poor quality couch cushions on a rather expensive sectional purchased from Raymour and Flanigan. Itchy fibers would poke through the fabric, making it very uncomfortable on bare skin, such as when wearing shorts. Raymour sent a "repair" tech out who only succeeded in making the cushions look horribly misshapen, and they no longer fit together correctly. Upon going back to them, they told us it was no longer under warranty and would have to charge $150 just for someone to come look at it. While looking at new couches at a small, reputable family owned furniture store (shout out to Kugler's Red Barn), Modern Times Upholstery was recommended as an alternative to buying a new sectional. I left a voicemail for Neal, who promptly returned my call. He asked for pictures and measurements and called me back with an estimate shortly thereafter. I found his prices to be reasonable, agreed to the estimate, and he sent his employee to my house to pick up the cushions. This entire process was completed in under a week, and the couch cushions look better than new. I can not thank Neal enough for the professional job he did and for saving me thousands when considering the cost of a new couch. I would highly recommend him for any of your upholstery repair needs.

I wish I could say his work is great, but I can not! I reached out to Neal via phone, text message and twice on his website. We spoke once where he told me to send him pictures. I did this. One of his technicians was going to come to my home. No one came. I am STILL waiting for a phone call, a text message, an email, a visit from a technician... the work to be be done on my furniture. Unfortunately, I do not think will happen therefore, I will seek out another company to do the work. I wanted to just leave this message but I could not as I had to highlight a star above.
