Minnetonka Glass & Mirror

I went to Minnetonka Glass and Mirror in late October 2017 to have glass replaced in two fireplaces. I was severely disappointed. I brought the frames there and they got them done in a week. However, I was told that one fireplace had scratches in the glass. When I went to pick them up a week later, they also said that the other fireplace glass had the red adhesive showing past the frame and they would redo it. So they had to redo BOTH fireplaces. I was fine with that and installed the finished products. However, over the winter, I had to remove the frames to clean film off the glass with fireplace glass cleaner. I noticed the adhesive was already cracking. Also, the cracks in the adhesive allowed something to melt onto the glass that I cannot remove. This spring, I contacted them about redoing both fireplaces for free or at a discount. They said NO since so much time had passed. Not even a one-year warranty? I am not going to bring the fireplace glass in during the winter and let cold air into my house while they take a week or two to fix it! I own a small business and redoing these at cost or at a discount would not hurt them financially and even make them more money. With such incompetence and poor customer service and product quality, I would look elsewhere!
