MCR Well and Pump Service is responsive and knowledgeable. When a pipe broke in our well, we contacted them, and they immediately called JULIE (the free Illinois service that locates underground utilities). The very next day, they began digging and fixed the issue quickly and efficiently. We were very happy with their service and highly recommend them!
We have used MCR on a couple of occasions, once to replace our well pump and also to install a new water tank. This is a family run business, Joe, Mike and John serviced our system and were prompt, knowledgeable, courteous and very reasonably priced. For service on your well system don’t think twice, give MCR a call. We were extremely satisfied with their company!
Worked with MCR/Joe for pressure tank issues with my rental property and my home. This company is responsive, professional, knowledgeable....quick to access the problem(s) and quick to resolve. Joe even performed service on a Saturday without charging a premium. One of the best experiences I've had with a contractor. I will continue to use MCR for any of my well/pump issues in the future. MRC was referred to me by a family member and I will surely refer to anyone I know !
Joe and Mike at MCR should be at the top of anyone's list if they need help with their well.
My 60 year old well was barely producing enough water to do simple things like hand washing a few dishes or taking a quick shower. I contacted several companies for help.
Several companies that came highly rated would not even bid on the work because their rig was too large to maneuver into the tight space where the well was located. They'd have to cut down a tree and work with ComEd to cover up the overhead lines and they'd have to cut out a part of the aluminum fencing. They didn't want to have to deal with that hassle.
One company did come out and performed an acid treatment using 2 simultaneous treatments of NuWell which they left for 60hrs before pumping it out. They also installed a new 3/4hp pump. This did not improve the production at all. So at the end of the day,, they went back to the office to write up a quote for digging a brand new well.
Thankfully Mike and Joe stopped by while the first company was back at their office writing up their quote. They suggested using a stronger acid and also flushing the well using a heavy duty air compressor. Their price for this treatment was significantly less than the price I paid the 1st company to acidize. It was also cheaper than the quotes provided to me by 2 other companies that had similar treatment methods. Additionally, despite the fact that MCR could not 100% guarantee that their treatment would work (none of the other companies would), they were confident enough to give me a no risk guarantee. If this doesn't work, they don't get paid! None of the other 10 companies I spoke to offered this.
It took 2 treatments but they got the well to produce more than my brand new pump could pump out. They saved me from having to pay for and deal with the hassle of digging a brand new well! I couldn't recommend them enough to anyone who needs help with their well.
