McCullough Brothers Inc

We have had some work done on some houses on our property this past year. Our general contractor pointed out a fair amount of trees around the property that needed prompt attention. Since we no longer had a regular tree removal contractor any longer, I asked our contractor for suggestions. He suggested McCullough Brothers Inc. Initially our contractor met with Adam McCullough to estimate the job. He did. I thought it reasonable but wanted to walk through the property with Adam myself. Adam happily came out again to reiterate the estimate he had discussed with our contractor. That was above and beyond. Work was scheduled with Jamie and the crew arrived at that scheduled time (soon after the estimate was approved). I came to visit the site in the middle of the work. The foreman (Ernest) stopped what he was doing and came over to introduce himself and say how things were going as well as ask if I had any questions or concerns. All work was completed on time, on budget and as discussed. Any time I asked questions (even AFTER the work was done and the bill was paid), they were answered promptly by either Adam or Jamie. Couldn't ask for a better experience. We now have a new tree contractor to call on for anything else that may come up.

After leaving a message with McCullough Brothers, I received a timely phone call from Adam who scheduled a site visit with me to assess my tree removal needs. Having called on his services over a decade ago, I was confident in his crew’s abilities. As we walked the property, he was quick to point out issues and prioritize them in terms of possible impending dangers and potential costs down the road. He gave me a price for the entire property but was happy to work with my budget as we agreed on a number for one side of the property along the driveway. Having received quotes from several other companies, I went with his because it was the lowest and, as I mentioned, I’d been happy with his services in the past. The next morning Jaime called to say they’d had a cancellation due to heavy snow and asked if he could send the crew over later that morning. They arrived at 10:15 and completed the job swiftly and efficiently. Earnest, the site manager, was extremely accommodating and helpful, walking the property with me beforehand to make sure we were on the same page, offering suggestions and asking me if there was anything else I wanted. His crew were professional and hard-working, expertly removing several large trees, one man in the bucket and two on a rope to make sure the tree segments fell the right way, another running the chipper. In addition, they smoothed out the tree line by removing smaller trees and pruning larger ones. This kind of work makes quite a mess, but as Adam assured me, they’d cleaned everything up by the time they were finished (I couldn’t believe how spotless the parking area and driveway were). The tree line looks great and I will definitely call them again for future projects.

Two words to describe this company… Tree Gods. The nicest workers I have ever met. Not only did they do a great job with removing my trees but they were respectful of my property and cleaned up every last piece of leaves and branches. It may be a little pricey but you get what you pay for and every penny was worth it. Will definitely use them again.
