Loved this Mexican place! U may have to deal with smoke smell since it's in Casino. We sat in back was fine! The carne asada street 🌮 were The Best! The Cadillac Margaritas were so tasty, too. Free chips 2 salsas. So easy to walk from Holiday Inn to restaurant. Great service!
The food was hot and fresh, and we were seated right away with no wait. I ordered the enchilada and chile relleno combo, and the portion was huge. The restaurant was clean and decorated in a classic old Spanish style, which gave it a nice atmosphere. Our total came to $50 for two people, which felt fair for the amount and quality of food
We enjoyed combination dinners, 1 taco, 2 enchiladas. Tasty and served hot! Only $13. Good size portions! Delicious breakfast in the morning! Our server Amelia was amazimg and suggested the country potatoes as the side! Super yummy! 2 eggs with toast and potatoes: $7.99! Add bacon or sausage +$2.00. Totally worth the price! Coffee is +$2.99. Amelia kept our cups full! Highly recommend!
What a treat! Margaritas inside the Prospector Hotel totally hit the spot after a long drive. The service was impressively fast and everyone was so friendly, even though the place was packed. I ordered the chicken flautas and wow — these were the best flautas I’ve had at a restaurant in years. Perfectly crunchy on the outside, juicy inside, and paired with fresh guac, sour cream, rice, and beans. Add in a cold Dos Equis and it was exactly what I needed. Delicious food, warm atmosphere, and that fun vintage vibe. Can’t recommend this spot enough if you’re in Ely!
