DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!! DO NOT BOOK through the Motel 6 app! I booked a room through the app on 11/22/25. I had my email confirmation & charge on my credit card. I arrived late at night, showed them my reservation and they could not find it. Mind you, I showed them my email confirmation from Motel 6 & charge on my credit card. They said they still could not find my reservation. I was forced to pay for a second room just so my family and I had a place to stay. I have tried for 3 months to get a refund for the second room I was charged for because they were too incompetent to find my reservation. Apparently OYO Hotels bought out Motel 6 and their systems aren’t linking. Their customer service had told me multiple times that this has been an on going issue. I have called and spoke with representatives numerous times, I’ve emailed their customer service multiple times. And they keep telling me that “They apologize for the delay and my refund is under review and I will be notified immediately” they have been telling me this since NOVEMBER! All I wanted was my refund for a 2nd room that I was forced to pay for because the hotel “could not find my reservation” I have emailed: Emma Cooper - G6 Hospitality Austin Jones - G6 Hospitality Eric Foster - G6 Hospitality Colin Hamilton- G6 Hospitality Peter Cole - G6 Hospitality Katie Wallace - G6 Hospitality Ryan Coleman - G6 Hospitality Ava Phillip - G6 Hospitality I have emailed each of these people multiple times, and they have all told me I was going to get my refund via Zelle. NOW, they have BLOCKED MY EMAIL!! Their customer service is the worse I have ever experienced, and I will try my hardest to let people know NOT to stay at Motel 6 so that they don’t get ripped off either! I’ve tried being patient, but 3 months with the same cookie cutter response from them is ridiculous and completely unprofessional. That’s just their customer service!! Don’t get me started on the cleanliness of the rooms and condition of the hotel in general. It was gross! After all this, we should’ve just slept in our car. I still want my REFUND for the extra room I was forced to pay for. Buyer Beware! AVOID MOTEL 6 at all costs!
