I have been going to Lone Star for years both for service on my vehicles and any towing needs that have come up and have always received excellent service and communication from their team. Their workers are knowledgeable and friendly and it is always a pleasure to walk in there because I know they are going to do a good job.
Ethan and Nick were insanely fast to come by. They had the right size tire on standby at their shop rather than make me wait a tire repair place. Was able to get to work a lot faster and get my job done for the day 100% recommend.
Absolute joke of a repair shop. Couldn’t boost an electric car. Definitely do not recommend going there for ANYTHING. If I could give 0 stars I would. EDIT 1 week later: I am a Premier AAA member and had an extremely unprofessional and frustrating experience with LoneStar yet again. Last week, AAA instructed me to call LoneStar’s office directly regarding a tow. When I did, I was told—very rudely—that they could not jump an EV in order to load it onto a flatbed. The person I spoke with insisted I “didn’t know what I was talking about” and refused service. As a result, my vehicle was left stranded during a severe snowstorm. Today, I placed another AAA tow request, and unsurprisingly, LoneStar was again assigned. Instead of providing service, their office called me to complain about a review I had previously written and told me they would not do business with me because I left a negative review. I even stated I would be happy to remove the review if I could simply receive professional service, but I was once again met with hostility and refusal. Due to these experiences, I have now filed a formal complaint with AAA regarding LoneStar’s conduct. This company appears more concerned with arguing and retaliating against customers than providing roadside assistance. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and refusal to help—especially during dangerous weather conditions—is unacceptable. I strongly recommend avoiding this company.
