Eddie the technician was great! My rabbit even let him pet her (which is VERY rare!!)!! He was so knowledgeable, kind and funny! It was a simple yearly heating maintenance, but he checked everything, answered my questions and didn't try to oversell me on anything I didn't need. Legacy has a keeper with him!
THEY TRIED TO SCAM ME I have a whole Home reverse osmosis system and I needed a carbon pump motor replaced and the UV light replaced . The guy that came was a plumbing manager and he came with an electrician that had already been out to my home. The manager started first by telling me that reverse osmosis systems in a whole are not good (We all know that that is not true) They said that I should get rid of my system that I paid $20,000 for one and a half years ago. Then he walked up to and looked at it and told me we this is going to be $5000 or more to fix my system. I asked him how can it be when the carbon pump motor is only $275? He tried to tell me it's because he has to take the whole system apart to replace it, which you can clearly see the motor and where it is screwed in and the gold fitting it is attached to, so you can see that that is not true. There's a some screws and a fitting. I told him that that was not true then he told me that he would need to replace the gold fitting and I said that that shouldn't cost $5000. Then he told me that it's because of the warranty that they will have to warranty the system after they work on it. And I said "you guys only warranty the parts that you replaced not the whole system correct?"And he said yes technically but people complain and I said well that shouldn't cost me $5000 so I said That they could just leave because I knew I was being ripped off as he was walking out he told the electrician that was with him that he would have to take apart my whole system just replaced the UV light. These UV lights need be replaced yearly. You can see where the connectors are to change it out. I can only speculate that they were thinking or hoping that I was just a stupid girl that didn't know anything. Well I'm not.
I did call the company to try to tell a manager/owner what happens to me and I left a message with the receptionist and nobody called me back.
