Do not come here, Few months ago I had carburetor work done on my quad, After I got it back, it stopped working within a few months later. They are now refusing to service it for free. This place is extremely overpriced charging $100 an hour plus an additional $300 for an diagnostic. Do not come here, you will get ripped off, The quality of work is awful.
Everyone at this dealership was exceptionally friendly. My saleswoman was Liliana and she was patient and answered all of my questions, even replying when she was off!
Vincent was awesome to talk to and made sure I had everything squared away regarding parts and accessories.
Adrian, the guy helping me sort the paperwork was very friendly and did NOT push me towards extended warranties or service plans - I really appreciated him for doing that.
Clayton the mechanic was super friendly and even came out to alleviate my concern about an odor from the bike.
Overall, 10/10 no scummy dealership tactics, did not forget to attach my license plate or give me gas like a dealer down here did, and were patient with me when I mistakenly thought there was a PDI error post delivery.
Would deal with them again, even at full price they are worth the drive up from LA.
These guys are amazing, from sales to service. I bought xmax 300 here and they are treating me as if I'd spent 50,000 dollars. Thank you guys for running the business in such a good manner. Don't buy anywhere else.
Brea in service is top notch. I live in Arizona. I was nearby on a camping trip with family when a fox shock blew. I called and spoke to her about warranty work on my Xpedition. She went above and beyond to get me back out and enjoying my trip. Thank you so much Brea for all your help! You’re awesome!
Picked up a new Tenere 700 over the 4th of July while visiting family in Bakersfield, and arranged to ship it home to Hawaii. Not only did I get a great price, but the entire Kern Powersports team treated me with the utmost respect and helped me every step of the way. Dominic, especially, made me feel like a valued customer.
A couple months later, while waiting for my ship date, the bike developed some issues. Even though they weren’t at fault, Kern welcomed me back without hesitation and addressed what I believe are Yamaha manufacturing problems—handling everything quickly and professionally.
You can’t always predict mechanical or electrical issues, but having a supportive, customer-focused team like Kern Powersports makes all the difference. Big thanks to the crew! I’m confident everything will be resolved soon, and that they’ll continue to exceed expectations.
