JK Shoe Repair

I was there about an hour ago because I was riding my e-bike with my suede shoes on and my right foot got caught between my pedal and my tire so my right shoe got F'ed up and I was about to throw them out but I found this place on google, gave them a call about price and he said he'll have to take a look, so I zipped there and he took a look and did something for like 2 minutes and my shoe was back to 99% perfect. Couldn't believe it so I thought I was going to be charged a pretty hefty fee but... He charged me $5... Said if I didn't have it pay him next time. I don't know this guy, it's my first time ever at a shoe repair shopat all but he trusted a stranger with credit if needed. I just want to give him a shot out. I think he's already well known within the community but Thank You for today and I'll come back with my Timbs next week!

We left a pair of red heels for repair for my mother because she loved these heels. They don't make these heels anymore and thought it was worth the price to repair them. The only thing that needed to be repaired were the leather parts inside the heels and on the pointy (nose) front of the shoes. Everything else was perfectly fine and we even checked that the back of the heels were sturdy. However after getting the shoes back we noticed that the bottom/tip of the heels were chipped off and both of the bottoms fell off completely at the same time. No matter how much we think about it, it doesn't make sense at all that both of them would fall off when they were perfectly fine. Whether it was intentional or not, we will not be going to this place again.
