Went to the checkout to see if the coupon would work on a shirt I was going to purchase. Yes it would. Gave it to the cashier. Looking at the receipt ask for them to explain where the coupon came off. The guy that wears the beanie hat said oh well you bought clearance items it won’t work. I told him I bought a shirt that my 15$ coupon would work on. He passed us back to the cashier. She looked at the receipt and said I told her to use the 35% off not the 15$. I did not. Anyway neither of the coupons came off. Told her to return it all and repurchase it using the coupon. Well since she scanned the coupon then switched it to the 35% off the 15$ one would not work. Man with hat said it was a one time use only. I never used it. She proceeded to scan my 5 time use 35% off coupon again. That left me with like one use left. I believe they deliberately did this so I could not use my coupon. It’s a Penny’s thing to mess with you. I left most of my items at the store. They could have overrode the machine or found a way to help me out but no. He blew me off and was on his phone leaving the cashier without help. Shame on you customer service at Penny’s Russellville, AR. I have had trouble at that store before and will go elsewhere where before going back.
