After reading positive reviews I unfortunately decided to take my laptop to icon. Beyond disappointment and regret I got my laptop back in a worse condition than when I took it to him and it is missing parts. awful customer service, promised many things like "I will call you back," "I will drop it off for you" and " i will look right into it" none of those are followed through and no calls were placed. When followed-up calls were made by me I was giving lame excuses like "it was late"," I forgot" and "who are you". I had to go back on multiple occasions in person just to get my property back. my laptop charging brick was missing as well was given a replacement because he lost it.I trusted the owner too much when I checked my laptop 2 months later found my hard drive my battery and one of my RAM sticks missing when I called inquire about it it got the same runaround "I will call you back" screws not put back in the right place . I originally dropped my laptop off in June took him a month that he had not looked at it yet. I don't have any explanation for why I got the bad service other than I identify as African. I look forward to a response maybe I will get it here .

Can't thank Chris enough for his services! I had a Toshiba hard drive that all of a sudden would disconnect, not letting me move any files - all my content was basically in jail, and I couldn't get them out. This business was my first Google search result, never having used a data recovery specialist before; I wasn't sure what to expect. Happy to say Chris was able to move all of my files out and reformat the hard drive for future use next day. This was probably super easy for Chris to do, and probably a small assignment, but it saved me a year's worth of projects and history-making content. Thank you so much!

This guy is not serious. He scratched my Macbrook Pro, took it apart and practically trashed it from the inside. He cut the fan cord and left food crumbs inside. I'm honestly shocked and dismayed by his behaviour. The Macbook had a chance to be repaired and this guy pretty much finished it off. The whole Macbook is loose on the inside, as he didn't even put the screws back in place. He returned it to me as you see in the photos. I was not expecting this. Quite frankly he caused hundreds of dollars of damage to my Macbook. Bewarned.
