I had a frustrating experience with HomePro Rx during our rebuild. While they communicated well early on and completed demo and framing, things went downhill once permits were approved. After we paid the second check, work on our home stopped for 4-5 months. They blamed delays on an electrician's personal leave, but instead of hiring someone else, they left our project stalled. This type of pattern continued to happen throughout the process. As a result, deadlines were repeatedly extended without proper communication, and it was hard to get specific answers from staff. Jorge, the owner, was the only person who could tell us updates. However, he rarely gave direct answers. We faced constant delays, poor transparency, and unfinished work, including missing windows and incomplete siding. Homepro RX only seemed motivated to work when the city required inspections or when they needed money from the bank. The bank even denied funds due to the lack of progress. After the city approved our home for occupancy on a Friday, Homepro RX stopped working when the final touches and cosmetic tasks were not complete. My husband had to contact them to finish the work. For example, we were missing trim and our steps were not done. In the end, they rushed to finish the job, leaving several tasks incomplete. We had to hire another contractor to fix their work and finish the job. The owner adjusted the invoice and removed tasks that they didn’t complete. My family experienced a house fire and we never had the chance to live in our home. Thus, we were disappointed by the lack of urgency and empathy in completing our project. After 14 months of being displaced and waiting for the completion of the rebuild, my family and I did not expect for our home to look so unfinished, especially without having screen doors, new basement windows, or shutters. Andres and Jorge are knowledgeable about aspects of the construction process. While expertise is important, it’s just as crucial to focus on supporting clients and managing the business with care, clear communication, and professionalism. Feb. 2026 It took your company a year to respond. There was never delays from the insurance company. You we were seeking to get addionitional money from insurance without work being done. We actually over paid. Your company also had to give us money back from tasks you did not complete. We waited months without tour company actually doing work and did not complete. Work was rushed. We also found it to be concerning that your company was remodeling your office after receiving money from us and stopped work on our project. I addressed many of these concerns in person. Lastly, those pictures are from the end after we addressed issues with some finished tasks. I am speaking my truth and experience.
