David was ontime (also called ahead) and meticulous in the yearly tuneup of our gas fireplace. Explained everything he did and left our house as he found it, clean. Thank you for providing an experienced and pleasant your man for our service. C & L Gray 3-3-26
Our experience from atart to finish was excellent. Everyone was knowledgeable and professional. We were given lots of options that would work for our space. David came today to finish installing and walked us through use of the fireplace. Very clean work area, answered all our questions. He was great!
I have been so disappointed with this company, and they never even provided a service. Where to begin, I contacted the company last year and an employee gave me his email address to send him information (Joe Ferreira). After a few attempts he never got back to me after I sent him the requested info. Fast forward a few months, it's getting cold again and I call the company to schedule an appt. I speak to Chelsea, and she creates an appt for 12/15/25. I wrote it down and was good to go (I only ever make Monday appts). She calls me on 12/11/25 to confirm an appt for "tomorrow" 12/12/25. I told her that was not feasible, and she could not reschedule me for weeks out. I moved things around and made it work because I need to get the stove serviced. 2 hrs. before my appt window, she calls me and leaves a VM cancelling due to a tech being sick (totally fine and things happen). But time and time again this company has been a letdown and I could not be bothered to try again with them. 0/5 stars!
Had a gentleman named Bill come out and service my Afton Bay St. Croix pellet stove. He was very knowledgeable, kind, and hardworking! Did an incredible job, and gave me a few tips to help upkeep my stove for the future. Highly recommend!
I am so impressed by the crew at Hearthside! From sales to installation, they are knowledgeable, friendly and did a great job installing a Jotul wood stove in our 250+ year old farmhouse…navigating a very narrow and steep staircase cheerfully, and patiently explaining the nuances of the stove. We are excited to work with Hearthside again soon in the installation of an Intrepid wood stove in the sitting room on the main floor—not nearly as challenging as this upstairs install! Our poodles give this crew 5 stars as well…and they can be tough critics!
