Had our chimney taken down. They did a great job! The workers lined the floor on each level of the house to protect the floors and keep the dust down. Took the chimney blocks out in big chunks to manage the debris. Cleaned up after the job was complete. Very happy with the work performed.
Thank you
Mr. Chimney on Tarklin Hill in New Bedford is excellent! They provided quick scheduling with fast and reliable service. Ariel is wonderful at keeping you informed and listening to your individual needs.
Jordan from Mr. Chimney is outstanding! He carefully and respectfully entered my home with all his equipment. He covered everything and didn’t leave a trace of ash residue. My fireplace is all white wood and with the care and attention to detail that Jordon provided, it still is! I highly recommend Mr. Chimney. I am sure you be highly satisfied!
I ordered a Ravelli pellet stove on November 29, 2025 and have a cash deposit of$6,300. They scheduled the installation for January 14, 2026 but never came to my house to look at the job and what if any challenges they were. Fast forward to January 14th father and son arrive with the stove and proceed to clean the chimney and prep the fire box for the stove. Now the problems start.
1. They couldn't install the custom chimney cap due to damaged concrete at the top. Take off ~$550 because they didn't come look at the job.
2. The flu pipe did not fit the stove exhaust pipe without an adapter. They were the same size.
3. They didn't have the adapter but had on order and couldn't tell me when it would be in.
4. I told them if they couldn't get the job done by Saturday I was going to cancel the job and look elsewhere.
That's all it took for the father to get angry and pull everything off the job.
I'm still without a stove and have no damper to block the cold air. I did get my money back a week later.
I would not recommend these guys to my worst enemy. Not to mention i found out later after looking around for another stove and installer, they were outrageously expensive. Their installation charge $2,000 vs $700 charge from the people i finally went to and saved over$3,000 total
Do yourself a favor and save a lot of aggravation and money , don't do business with them. You'll thank me later.
