We’ve worked with David twice over the past three years — first for the design of our patio, plantings, lighting and more for our new home, and more recently for a complete pool and landscape project (Poolscapes Vermont). We were so happy with his first design that hiring him again was a no-brainer. The new pool, patio, lighting, fencing, and landscaping all tie in seamlessly with our existing yard, and the results are absolutely amazing. David is a phenomenal designer and did an excellent job managing and coordinating with contractors to bring our vision to life. We couldn’t be happier!

I worked with David Burton over a period of about 2 years to plan, and build a pool and surrounding landscape for my challenging lot, which is on a hillside. He then designed and managed the entire project beautifully, including gaining approvals from the HOA - no easy task with Act 250 and new state rulings on water runofff. There is no better person to work with than David. He is thorough, thoughtful, communicates clearly and often, manages any challenge and contractors with calm and diplomacy. He attends to every detail, and has incredible integrity. He is cost conscious. He is highly skilled at his craft -- having a remarkable eye for planning the landscaping with artistry, color, and local plants. I am thrilled with my new pool and surrounding plantings and can't wait for spring to see all in bloom. David is a gem. Anyone would be most fortunate to work with him.
