Working with Susie has been an absolute joy from start to finish. I’ve truly enjoyed working with her and learning how to maximize the beauty of my front yard garden. My 20-year-old plantings had become vastly overgrown and in need of a strong edit, and Susie brought exactly the vision, knowledge, and artistry required to breathe new life into it. Susie knew what to keep and what to move or simply “get rid of.” She reimagined the space into three distinct “garden rooms”—a radiant sun garden, a serene shade garden, and a beautifully balanced mixed sun/shade garden—each connected by a graceful garden path that invites exploration. Her thoughtful focus on flowering perennials and silver-leafed plants means my color-blind husband can enjoy the textures, forms, and subtle contrasts alongside me, which makes the garden even more meaningful for us both. The end result is nothing short of stunning: a space that feels curated, timeless, and deeply personal for us.
