5 stars isn’t enough for George’s Shoe Repair. I went back and forth on taking my Ariat’s here or sending them in to a “licensed” repair place in California I found via Ariat’s website. The sole in both boots were cracked and done for after our move back here from overseas (too and I didn’t take before pictures). Decided to go to George’s and never happier. I enjoy the look and feel of these resoled boots more than I did the originals. Not only was George’s work amazing but he is one of the lost genuine and easy to talk to people around! I could have stayed and chatted with him all day at both drop off and pick up of my boots. If I ever need any other repair work I will most definitely be back. If you are in search of some yourself, look no further; put down your phone and drive to George’s right now.

Great job on my Redwing Iron Ranger resole. Converted them to a Vibram Christy sole and made the boot much more enjoyable with the softer sole. Quality of work is top notch and turn around time was great compared to other shops.

PSA: his name is not George. Vincent and his wife have kind hearts as big as Texas and they are “straight shooters.” Don’t be put off by his direct manner. They have time-tested, old time values. Vincent will tell you the truth about needed repairs and then do stellar work. He is a well trained craftsman. I have some leather boots he has kept in good repair for nearly 15 years. While you are at this sparkling new location, take a look at his collection of memorabilia and his beloved turtles. These are such good, good people. I’m delighted to support their business.
