The friendly and acknowledged staff at Friendly Automotive made this flat tire easy to fix. Plus they text me with a list of suggestions for my car. I did not approve of any yet I am impressed with their organizational structure. They aim to service the customer in a low-key way.
The staff is very friendly. I like how they update you by text and phone. They’re willing to explain what needs to be done and what can wait. They don’t keep your car longer than necessary I used to go to my dealer for services, but not anymore ! It’s Friendly Automotive from now on.
I had great service there this week.
My Audi front end was out of alignment and shocks in the back were shot, causing severe tire wear so all 4 tires had to be replaced, too. They had it back to me running smoothly 1 week after I brought it in. That is excellent timing given that the tires and shock are difficult to sourse and far away.
I go there because I have had poor experiences elsewhere in town, where as their work has been solid. Chelsea has been the one who helps explain the problem and the options to me so I can decide what is done. She takes the time to keep me posted and explains things clearly to me in function, time and cost.
I am very happy with their work, advice and service.
Thank you!
To the owner, having two women in the front nice touch. Both were upbeat and friendly. Upon arrival I heard a customer say "I love you". What an odd thing to say to an employee I thought. My neighbor that also drives an Audi insisted that I speak with Chelsey. I have been to a couple repair shops both have a different idea of what is wrong with my vehicle. I was asked a few questions and felt so comfortable having a conversation with Chelsey that I asked if she would go over the estimates from the other shops with me. She answer all of my questions, didn't laugh at me for not having knowledge, didn't speak ill of the other shops I went to either. One shop had spoken ill of the other shop that I was previously at. When I mentioned that to her, Chelsey responded with that she doesn't speak ill of any shop. Valvoline has sent customers to them and she has sent customers to Valvoline in the summer time when people just want their ac system recharged and they don't have time to drop their vehicle off. That's great that the two businesses respect each other. That's also completely accurate because my husband had his oil changed at Valvoline, his check engine light is on when he asked where should he go. The employee recommended Friendly Automotive. Chelsey you were fantastic, I felt comfortable, you listened to me, didn't tell me what I should do, you gave me my options, didn't feel like you were upselling either. It now makes sense why that customer said "I love you" to Chelsey. Now I'll say it too, only if she doesn't mind, if she does mind I'm going to say it anyway. I absolutely love Chelsey! Thank you for the assistance. I hope your employer isn't upset with the amount of time you spent answering all my questions. I did have a lot. I suspect he knows about your overwhelming big personality lol or else you wouldn't be upfront. Yes Chelsey that is one of your better qualities!
Reading through reviews I wish that a business was able to inform everything that had happened because a few of these bad reviews I know the person is lying. There are a few people I actually know listed in the reviews. Just moved back to Yakima. Looking forward to speaking with Chelsey again. Apologies if I misspelled your name.
My elderly mother in law brings her vehicle here for oil changes. They pressured her into replacing all four tires this last time. While they were replacing the tires, they wrote up a quote for replacing upper and lower control arms, as well as replacing the cv axel assembly. They stressed that the work was urgent. The total was nearly
$5,000.
Luckily she waited for us to come to town for thanksgiving. I took it for a drive around town. The car drove great. I inspected the side in question and other than normal wear and tear on a 50,000 mile vehicle, it looked perfectly fine.
She won’t be back.
