Uneducated jewelers. Poor communication. Only reason I’d stay with Fred’s jewelers is for their warranty. I’ll never go to the Fred’s jewelers in the valley. I suggest go to anchorage. Believe it or not costco has a good warranty for jewelry too!
I ordered a set of pearls (that should have taken only one week to ship). Two weeks later they came in “damaged” and they would not let me see them. I was told by the man working there that they would reorder them for me. Another two weeks passed before I was told they were never reordered and the best solution was to give me a fred meyers gift card. Christmas ruined.
I purchased a watch for a very beautiful friend of mine. Everything went even better than I could have hoped. I very much highly recommend Fred Meyer Jewelers for all of your Jewelry purchases.
They have the lowest prices compared to other leading jewelry stores. They are always eager to help and offer to clean jewelry for free. Even if I haven’t purchased it from there. Their life time jewelry plan ensures I’m taken care of against normal wear and tear for the life of my piece as well as accidental damage. I’ve lost stones before from everyday wear and they have been more than happy to replace them for me with the diamond guarantee they gift with any purchase. I just have to bring it in for inspection once a year to help catch preventative maintenance, plus they take that opportunity to clean it then as well. Since I get the warranty that covers wear and tear, if any work is needed at the time of my inspection, they take care of me by sending it to their Jeweler to have it repaired for free. I trust them to help me with anything jewelry related.
