Terrible service ! I’m here at this very moment and I’m writing this review to say the very least the worse service I’ve ever had and was treated with disrespect! Wouldn’t even look at my items because I was dirty from work and judged me because of my appearance?! I will definitely be calling Alaska Services against them . Do not under any circumstances what so ever go to A1 Pawn shop only thing A1 about them is an A1 attitude , judgmental pricks and shouldn’t have the right to even have a business license treating and judging customers the way they do.

I bought a Valentine’s Day gift here a couple weeks ago. They were a pair of earring studs that I was told by staff were lab grown diamonds. Long story short my wife was suspicious. The next day I had them tested by Fred Meyer jewelers and the earrings were in fact fake. It seems like an easy process to test diamonds and I’m surprised the staff at this pawn shop hadn’t tested them before selling them as “real lab grown diamonds”. Just a bummer.

Wasted time and money when i called in and one of the sons answered. I asked if they were willing to trade my truck for some silver and when we finally made the drive down there the owner decided they never wanted it to begin with even though his son assured me they were interested in my deal and he had talked to the owner to verify. They tried lowballing so hard like they could only sell my truck for 1k when I've never seen a truck outside their lot selling for less than a few grand easy. They used to be good we have bought from them many times in the past but now that the sons are getting more involved the place is quickly going downhill. After I get my stuff out of pawn I'll never be going back. Fast cash in wasilla is a much better option and they are honest people there.
