the guy that came out for a small condensation leak didn’t turn off the breaker. He was jerking and pulling on the unit saying this is supposed to pop up… after idk 10 min of this I said well maybe it has screws. Well it did of course, we asked several times if he wanted us to turn off breaker during this time. He poured bleach in the tray then left the entire housing hanging while he ran to his truck to get shop vac to vacuum out tray. When he went to put it back together he was screwing it in with the flap where it couldn’t come down. It was like he was just rushing around to get done asap. It did work after he got the flap where it would come down so we paid him and when he left we turned it off. The next time I turned it on all these error codes flashed and because I was afraid of fire I turned off breaker. we called them and sent a more seasoned professional out but he couldn’t figure it out. Called back next day and said it was outside part of mini split. we had never had problem with this unit beside condensation leak and now we needed an entire new unit. I complained to the owner and of course the technician tried to cover his butt and lied and said he couldn’t get apart because it was so dirty. He didn’t undo the screws and he even commented that it was a lot cleaner than some he had seen while he was here. They do not take responsibility for their mistakes. Got a different company to put in my new unit and they said nothing like that should’ve been done with the breaker on and they should’ve known that. That is reason my unit went bad. I wish I had just not even called them. I had a company in Russell Springs put in a new unit for me in November of last year and apparently they bought that company. I paid $250 for installation in November last year and they wanted $500 this year after the $100 I paid the guy that tore up my unit by working on it without turning the breaker off. I would suggest that you video any work they do so the worker can’t lie about it later!!!
