Excellent and very friendly, wish we would have know ahead of time of the fast past sales push and loss of the deal if we didn't commit that day. Would have been nice to move finances around with out feeling rushed. Otherwise very happy with Matt, he was super patient with us and made sure we were getting all the info and selections we wanted!
Matthew was very friendly and knowledgeable at our appointment. Feldco was very fair with they're pricing for a good quality product.
We yet to have the install But I will write another review after that.
Matt Roeder was amazing! Did his job professionally but at no point was that salesperson grabbing your shirt. Talked and delivered but left all choices with me, no pushing! He spoke clear and always asked if there were any questions. Im a Supervisor where I work been in management for 5 years now and I can tell when someone is amazing at their job. This guy cares about his job! Well done sir!
Matt (sales) is terrific - straightforward, honest and professional - also just a nice, genuine person. We had several windows and doors replaced in our old 1900 farmhouse. Both crews who performed the work were exceptional! They were professional, expedient and very friendly. We are very happy with the quality of the windows and doors as well. 5 stars - highly recommend this company all around.
Nightmare Experience. Salesman used "Misleading Sales Tactics." We had windows, siding, facia, Soffits, gutters, a back door and storm door installed. We went with Feldco over another local company due to what was quoted to us by the salesman as far as the process of installation and payment structure.
Payment--Salesman stated 50% down at signing and the remaining balance due at completion & satisfaction of the job. Basically, only two payments. That Feldco uses their own employees for installation. When the back door was being installed the worker asked for a check after completion of the job. When it was explained to him what the salesman had quoted he stated it wasn't the first time he had been to a job site and had been told by the homeowner that the salesman had lied to them about payments. When I called Feldco for clarification I got Jesse who was rude and demanded a check from me. I then got a call from the Branch Manager to straighten out the issue and then a call from the sales rep that admitted to not communicating clearly or misquoting the payment structure.
Windows--The workers left two basement windows unfinished and unframed with pine shims sticking out from the windows and spray in foam exposed all around the windows. Someone had to come out three times to properly caulk around the same back dining room window because the workers just globbed caulk on the window seam and never smoothed it out to make it look clean.
Back Door--The lock was installed crooked and the bolt to the lock could not be locked because it was flush with the door frame. The bottom weather stripping was all ripped up. The installer took off our oak trim around the door and threw it away and installed white trim around the door that doesn't match without first speaking to me about it. Feldco sent someone out to take photos of the door issues and the uncompleted back windows and ordered parts for the door.
Siding--Came home to a crew that did not have anyone that spoke English installing siding over my existing siding. They had a 10-year old boy trying to translate for them and use a phone app to translate for them. We had been told by the salesman that the old siding would be removed, a moisture barrier house wrap installed, then insulation, then the siding. I called Feldco and finally got a call back from the branch manager. I advised him of what was going on and it wasn't how it had been quoted to us. He did a three-way call between the salesman and I. At this time the salesman called my wife and I liars. That he did not explain the job that way. I was told that the sales presentations are recorded. I then requested an unedited copy of the sales presentation for clarity. At this time I have made six requests to Feldco for that recording and have not been provided it.
Soffit / Fascia--The workers were caught trying to take short cuts and not replace old, rotted fascia boards. I stood outside with my brother-in-law who is in construction and watched them try and nail fascia up into rotted wood that wouldn't hold the nail. We kept noticing things being done incorrectly. I contacted the branch manager who came out to the residence and made sure the workers went and got new wood and replaced any rotted-out wood.
Vinyl Trim around Exterior Windows / Steps--The workers put vinyl trim strips around our back steps instead of putting siding behind them like it was originally. Around the electrical box on the back of the house they put trim unevenly around the box. Four windows on the house they did not evenly trim the windows out and had vinyl trim longer on one side then the other, so it looked like fangs hanging off the bottom of the windows. The branch manager had the workers back out to fix the issues around the windows and around the back steps. When the worker came back out to fix the issues, he told me he was losing money having to back out and fix the issues.
Gutters. Workers installed new gutters around the house and left a large black scuff on the front gutters. Had to have someone out three days later to fix the issue.
