I can’t say enough good things about DK Hardee! From the moment I walked in, I felt like I’d stepped back in time to the old days when customer service actually meant something personal and genuine. Curtis, the manager, treated me like I was the only customer in the world. He spoke to me with real respect and care, and when a part was needed, he personally went to pick it up himself just to cut down my wait time. That kind of hustle and thoughtfulness is rare these days. Rachel was an absolute rock star—she meticulously walked me through every step of the process, kept me updated the entire time, and made me feel like a VIP. No rushing, no vague answers, just clear, patient communication. And Charles, the technician who actually worked on my truck, is the real deal. He didn’t just fix the problem—he provided a detailed report of everything he found, explained what needed immediate attention and what could safely wait, and then Rachel sat down with me to go over it all. That level of honesty and transparency? Almost unheard of anymore. The whole team clearly gets how valuable time is, especially for working folks who need to get back on the road and back to making a living. They respected mine and went above and beyond to make sure I wasn’t stuck longer than necessary. I'm writing this review to inform others of my experience with this repair shop. I took my Range Rover in to have them diagnose and repair three issues that had come up. After paying the diagnostic fee, they presented me an estimate of about $4,000 to repair all issues. I paid for the work and they claimed to have made all repairs. When I went to pick up my vehicle there was an extremely loud tapping sound coming from the engine as soon as I started it. It sounded like something metal was inside of the engine tapping around. I've attached it so you can hear what I heard. It was not doing this when I dropped it off. This was while I was still on their lot, and all I did was start the vehicle to leave. I notified them at the time and someone came to look at it. After the vehicle warmed up the noise stopped (on their lot). I took the vehicle home and the next morning I recorded the sound and brought the vehicle back to them. They called me and wanted another $2,000 to diagnose what the issue is. Mind you, it is the issue that began after they worked on the vehicle. $2,000 to find out what they did to my vehicle sounds crazy to me, no thank you. Here's the kicker, about a month later the same issues I paid about $4,000 to have repaired were back. All three. This seemed more like a grift than legitimate business practices. I do not recommend at all. I took my vehicle elsewhere and everything was repaired and it has been working perfect ever since.
