Discount Tire

Coming from Texas and being a Customer of Discount Tire for decades, I was quite pleased to find Discount Tire in Grand Forks when we moved up here from Texas. Service times are super fast and I am always quite surprised when I see so very few customers at this location as compared to the locations I used in Texas. I think once it catches on about the great service and selection that will change soon.

Sam was awesome! She came up to me outside, asked how she could help, and got me checked in even though I was early for my Blizzak install. I asked about keeping my old tires and getting them bagged, and she made sure they were still good for next season. They told me it’d take about an hour, but the whole install was done in around 10 minutes. Fast, friendly, and great customer service! Highly recommend.

I must say that my experience here was absolutely phenomenal. I am a former manager of a competing company and went here instead of my former company. Needed tires and wanted an alignment. Accommodated my requests and performed them without hesitation. Got truck on alignment rack and provided a before readout and turns out I did not need one. Not only did the tech not do any unnecessary work, but Sam came and explained it to me and refunded the charge for the alignment. Honesty is in the culture here at this store. Also, I own a Ford F350 dually and no one balked at doing any work on my truck, which is not common with chain tire shops(even my former one) because it can be a PITA to work on. Fast work. Extremely fair pricing. Very clean store and organized shop. Highly recommended.

Sam is the best! I called around 8:30 and she answered the phone. I want to have my tires checked. When I arrived she was working on a car but had the time to greet me. She very pleasant and very professional. She then checked my car right after and she explained things well clear and concise. People here work fast and efficient. Found out that my two front wheel has corrosion and the team here fixed it in 30 minutes! The manager is also great! You can feel there is camaraderie in the team.
