I deeply regret hiring Diamond Solutions to mill and repave one of our parking lots. Nine months after completion, part of the lot began to crumble, and the striping is so thin it needs to be repainted already. They paved over clay without subgrade, causing the asphalt to fail. Brennan said they would cover the asphalt cost under "warranty" but still charge $2,000 for a 6'x6'x8" crushed concrete base. Their proposed 6'x6' repair would have been a band-aid on a much larger failing area. Brennan made every claim and excuse, rather than stand behind their work and own up to their error. Their own core sample was 5/16" short of the contracted 3". Realizing I could have no trust or confidence in Diamond's integrity, I had to hire another company to fix it, which ended up being a 15'x12' failed asphalt section. Photos do not lie, despite Diamond's denial that there was insufficient sublayer when they laid the asphalt. Hiring them was a costly mistake. UPDATE: The owner reached out to me, seemingly unaware of this situation, and wanted to make it right. While the wasted time and energy cannot be undone, he did all that he can to make it right.
