This is the 1st time I've ever had a custom slipcover made. After getting 5-6 quotes from various people, I went with David Simms. Not only is he reasonable, compared with the others, but his craftmanship is impressive!! I'm truly amazed at how my sofa turned out. My slipcover "fits like a glove" and looks like a custom upholstery job! I'll definitely use him again when I'm ready to upholster that antique, loveseat in my basement. Thank you, David

Mr. Simms made this project so simple from start to finish I'm really amazed. I had an old, beat up chair which I didn't want to part with for emotional reasons. I started by going to fabric stores, trying to find some inspiration but found none. Mr. Simms pointed me to Charlotte Fabrics which only does business through upholsterers and I immediately found several possibilities. I was able to order as many samples as I wanted for free and found the perfect fabric within the week. Mr. Simms picked up the chair, performed the artistry of his craft , and brought it back to me within the month. My ugly old chair is now the centerpiece of my living room. I'm so grateful to Mr. Simms and his wife for their excellent work. I would never go to anyone else.
