Creative Surfaces

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. We contracted to have granite countertops installed through Lowe's in West Knoxville and was extremely disappointed with the team and the quality of work. They measured the counters wrong, did not send the correct amount of backsplash, and did not send the correct dimensions of backsplash. The team took 2 days to install a small kitchen, asked me for a lighter so he could smoke outside our front door, left garbage all over our floors when they were finished, left without a word to me (so I could not ask any questions or see their finished work), and when I asked them to caulk over their mistakes, they claimed that they had no white caulk. Not sure what counter installer travels around with no white caulk. Apparently Creative Surfaces. Now I have to caulk, paint, and clean their mess. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

We purchased our kitchen countertops through Lowe’s in Knoxville who contracted the work out to Creative Surfaces. We have had nothing but issues with them over the entire process of having our countertops installed. On the day of installation they were confused as to what they were supposed to install and left our countertops in Chattanooga. This meant that they didn’t show up to our house until about 8PM. They had incorrectly measured the backsplash, but assured me they would return in the coming weeks to install them. After three weeks they finally contacted me and set a date to install the backsplash. The morning of the installation they cancelled because they had messed the backsplash up while correcting it. They rescheduled for a day the following week. On that day they didn’t show up or call to cancel and would not answer email or phone. It has been almost another week, and I still have not heard back from them. They will not answer phone calls or email. So now I have been left with a partially finished countertop for over a month. I would recommend looking elsewhere for your countertop needs. I would have given them one star, but the pieces they have actually managed to install are of good quality.
