STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY! He charged me $100 to transfer the data from my SSD to a thumb drive. None of the files on the thumb drive work or open. I opened my laptop to find my SSD is missing! And now he isn’t answering his phone for the next week! I cannot get the data from my SSD that I desperately need for work! COMPLETELY INEPT AND TOTALLY IRRESPONSIBLE!! UPDATE: After two weeks of him having my SSD drive, I finally got it back. I brought it to Best Buy to pay even more money to get the data transferred properly. However, the SSD drive got damaged during those two weeks. Either on accident or on purpose. When I asked for a refund from him, this was his response, “Ok sure, I can do it in front of you but the charge will be $400.” Why would I pay additional money to the same person who returned my SSD in worse condition than when I gave it to him? Especially $400 to redo work that wasn’t completed properly the first time? Fool me once… Then when I challenged him his response was. “How is it that I damage your disk? ….Now it's going to be $2000.If you want to get your data and I will do it in front of you.Thank you” And, “Are you missing brain cells?I'm telling you that I will recover the data right in front of you, which means that it's not damage.If it was damaged, I would never offer you such solution.Now it's $4,000 in cash.” Basically if I don’t pay him higher and higher fees he will continue to hold my data hostage. That’s all of my children’s baby pictures and important legal documents. He doesn’t care about doing the right thing.
