The crew did a fantastic job. I do testing and install verifications on MEP systems for work so I was extra nit picky - but they addressed all of my concerns and accommodated the particular duct design I wanted for the heat pump water heater. It’s operating perfectly. It’s also super quiet and there are no issues with cold air getting dumped into the living space, both of which were major concerns for me. Highly recommend!
Daniel and his team were efficient and professional installing a heat pump water heater for us, all at a competitive price. They had clear experience and expertise with the equipment that other contractors we spoke to were lacking. Would highly recommend this team for any job, but particularly those involving heat pumps or other emerging technologies.
We had Colorado Eco-Mechanical do a two zone cold weather ductless heat pump (mini split) system as well as a heat pump water heater. They did a great job of a clean install (look at the beautiful copper piping on the water heater!) and everyone was extremely friendly and professional. Daniel was also extremely helpful in navigating Xcel Energy's rebates which made improving our comfort an affordable option!
This experience was about as smooth as it could be. I had our furnace crap out on us and called quite a few contractors about replacing it and our A/C with a heat pump system. Eco Mechanical answered all my questions, and helped me figure out the best system for my needs. It wasn't the cheapest quote we got, but the system they priced out is a nice Bosch Ultra with Furnace backup for really cold days. After rebates from Xcel, Erie, and Boulder County - it was an affordable upgrade. The crew was extremely polite and asked before cutting holes or running new pipes to ensure they didn't mess with house aesthetics. The city inspector was very critical, and still found nothing that needed to be fixed. The system is quiet, works well and gives me good data to see how things are working (if you're into them at type of thing). I would absolutely work with them again, but also luckily it should be a long, long while before my furnace or heat pump crap out again
