We can not say enough about our experience with City Clock Company. (Little back story).... My husband and I obtained a very old grandfather clock from the estate of his parents. It was a wedding present that was a showpiece in the 1850's home that they owned. The clock had not worked in the 30 years that we have been married. However, this clock was always in the home that he grew up in. We knew it was old and we so wanted to get it working again. So we took it to a clock repair in Omaha. (I WILL NOT MENTION THE NAME) however, this company had good reviews and we made the 80 mile trip 1 way just to have the owner and whom we assume was his wife be very rude and refuse to give us any information on a repair, (It was like he could not even be bothered to get up out of his chair to come discuss it. So.......still wanting to get the clock working we found City Clock Co. We called and told them what we had and were told to bring it in that they were sure they could repair it..So we did.. Let me tell you that City Clock and Deb went ABOVE and BEYOND to help us. So much so that they even did the research on the clock to inform us that the clock was made in 1885 by the Waterbury Clock company. We were thrilled that they repaired the clock but to also give us all the back history of it and a value and taught us how to care for the timepiece.. Deb was quick to answer ANY and ALL questions even after we set up the clock at home. She emailed and called just to make sure we were happy. Walked us through what we needed to do. Let me say this... We WILL ONLY take any clock needing attention the City Clock and have already recommended City Clock to family and friends. To be honest.... We are so happy that the company in Omaha was so rude and unwelcoming otherwise we never would have found City Clock and Deb and her amazing team! BRAVO !!!!!
