The lady I made my appt., with was fairly misleading. She stated that my cost to have my chimney inspected and cleaned would be “somewhere between a 129 dollars to 219 “if extremely dirty.” Although, the workers were friendly, the main guy said my chimney was not “too bad or dirty, and was a manufactured model, so no need for a camera or anything.” I assumed my cost would be “somewhere “in between” the rates explained by their company. However, I was charged the entire 219, even though I was told “ it’s not too bad or dirty.” Additionally, if you use a card you will have to pay a fee. I feel these practices are misleading and deceptive! ,it also seemed like all they did was vacuum out my wood fireplace for 30 minutes with a shop vac. He also had a young guy, ( whom seemed like he was in training) go up a ladder to inspect my chimney . Not even sure he knew what he was inspecting?There was no camera used to inspect the inside of our chimney, rather a flashlight was used and was told he did not even have a camera with him. Maybe get the quote in writing before they start or they may charge ya full price! Rather disappointed in the whole experience and feel somewhat swindled! Cannot recommend.
