Kate was wonderful yesterday evening. Patient. Knowledgeable. Helpful. I needed a new magnetic dash phone holder. She took her time, making sure it would work for me. Respectful young lady. Kudos!
The first experience I had with them was great. They called and notified me as soon as my iPad was finished so I could pick it up. When I took my laptop there I was not notified when it was completed. I called after week 1 to see if it was completed and the parts hadn’t came in. When I called the second time it had been done for 6 days and no one bothered to call to let me it was ready so I could pick it up. This is rude and not good business practice.
I brought my laptop in for a screen repair. When I came to pick it up, I was told that the clips that hold the bottom portion together were broken. I explained that the only way those clips could have broken is during disassembly to access the screen. I understand that mistakes can happen, especially during repairs — that part I can accept. What I cannot accept is how the situation was handled. Instead of taking responsibility or clearly explaining what happened, I was spoken to in a way that felt dismissive and disrespectful, as if I didn’t understand my own device.
