The first experience I had with them was great. They called and notified me as soon as my iPad was finished so I could pick it up. When I took my laptop there I was not notified when it was completed. I called after week 1 to see if it was completed and the parts hadn’t came in. When I called the second time it had been done for 6 days and no one bothered to call to let me it was ready so I could pick it up. This is rude and not good business practice.
Absolutely terrible experience at Cellular Accessories. My fiancé dropped his phone off and was told it would be ready by 6 PM the same day. When he came back, they suddenly said it wasn’t ready. He asked for his phone back and a refund, and they told him his phone was already taken apart and “in pieces,” so he couldn’t get a refund.
Then the excuses started. They said they were waiting on parts that would arrive Tuesday. On Tuesday, they said the parts hadn’t come in yet and it might be ready Monday. On Monday, they pushed it back again and said maybe Friday. After two full weeks of waiting and getting the runaround, they finally said the phone was unfixable — but still expected us to pay a service fee.
To make things worse, them taking the phone apart voided the warranty, so we couldn’t even get an upgrade through Verizon. The owner was very rude throughout the whole situation and took zero accountability. Completely unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
I brought my laptop in for a screen repair. When I came to pick it up, I was told that the clips that hold the bottom portion together were broken. I explained that the only way those clips could have broken is during disassembly to access the screen.
I understand that mistakes can happen, especially during repairs — that part I can accept. What I cannot accept is how the situation was handled. Instead of taking responsibility or clearly explaining what happened, I was spoken to in a way that felt dismissive and disrespectful, as if I didn’t understand my own device.
Good customer service is about accountability and communication. Because of how this was handled, I will not be returning.
Kate was wonderful yesterday evening. Patient. Knowledgeable. Helpful. I needed a new magnetic dash phone holder. She took her time, making sure it would work for me. Respectful young lady. Kudos!
Sadly, I’m not going to leave a real positive review of This business. Approximately a month and a half ago I had a screen replaced for an iPhone 15. I purchased the premium screen for $150. It came with a six month warranty. Yesterday, the screen locked up and would not unlock at all. I took it in today, Thursday, November 20, and had to pay $50 for a diagnosis in order to have them look at my phone. I was told that if the screen was at fault that there wouldn’t be a charge. Couple hours later I received a call and was told that the screen was bad and needed to be replaced, but that it would not be replaced under warranty. I inquired why not under warranty, and I was told because the screen has a small scratch on it. I really have a hard time understanding how a small scratch can affect the electronics and the working part of a new screen. When I picked up my phone, I noticed that they used a different type of screen this time. Also, they applied the $50 I paid for the diagnostic fee to the bill and gave me a $25 discount. That’s all fine but The repair should’ve been made for free under warranty since it was a defective screen. What good is them offering a warranty if they’re just going to void it for any small reason? They do good work as my phone worked both times when I received it back, but they do not stand behind their warranties.
