CDH Resurfacing Solutions

CDH refinished our primary bath tub and tile in 2023. The first time it was done, it had quite a few issues after it dried but they came back out to fix it quickly. Unfortunately, just a year after having it done we started to see significant chips and now 2-years later, really regret having this done. If considering, I’d suggest you save yourself the pain of going this route unless you’re not planning to use the bathroom OR you don’t mind a lack of longevity.

I've used CDH Resurfacing Solutions for two projects. The first project was outstanding. The second project was just ok. Recently, I noticed chipping on the bathtub (1st project). I call CDH for a warranty repair and was told I would need to pay a $250.00 setup fee for the small repair. This should be disclosed. In actuality, there is no 2-year warranty because you will have to come out of pocket for repairs. No matter how small they are.

We received 3 bids to resurface our tub. While CDH's bid was not the lowest, they didn't require that I move the toilet or completely clean the tub ahead of the resurfacing. The price was reasonable, we were able to schedule the service fairly quickly, communication ahead of the resurfacing was efficient and helpful, and Zak, our technician did an excellent job. The tub looks great and Zak was professional, kind and courteous. CDH did have Zak try to upsell us on a non-slip finish, enhanced warranty and a new drain cover. I would prefer these options be add-ons considered at the time of the bid, rather than the responsibility of the technician.
