Colby ended up doing our roof on his own, his crew was out during another job. He’s very professional and has a smile on his face the whole time he’s doing his job. He did a great job with both our roof and gutters. while he was doing our roof, he took our chimney off from where we used to have a fireplace, and the basketball hoop for just the cost, he was charging us for the roof. When he was finishing the gutters, my husband asked him if he could put up our storm door. My husband bought it a few months ago, although he just couldn’t get it done because of his arthritis in his hands. Colby did it in a heartbeat and charged very little to do it. I was referred to Colby to get assistance with some roof repairs needed as part of the sale of my home. This was by no means a large or complex project but was critical to me meeting a very tight deadline to close on the property. Colby not only agreed to take on the project, he made an extra effort to visit the property the same day I called, and then came back to make the repairs in time to meet the deadline set by the buyers. I found Colby to be prompt, reliable, and professional and the work he performed was done quickly and done right. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience; I highly recommend Colby for any roofing project.

Colby was initially easy to talk with and was professional about sending a quote promptly. The problem arose when he told me the new roof of my rental would be done in 3 days. He sent me pictures (since I live remotely from this location) at the end of day 3. I promptly paid him. What I didn’t know is that he WASN’T done with my roof. There was a whole area of flashing that hadn’t been done. He & his crew also left a BIG mess of roofing debris, personal garbage, dirt all over my newly painted duplex, nails, piles of roofing sand on the roof and sand that was falling out of my gutters, he removed my tenants satellite dish and threw it over the side of the building that caused damage and didn’t replace. I believe my roof was installed fine but working with Colby was sloppy, he was defensive in nature, and was poor in his communications with me throughout & after the project. He did come out and attempt to remedy things (at 7am on Father’s Day morning on top of our tenants roof) but overlooked much of it, leaving a mess for us to clean ourselves. The tenants and neighbors even complained to us about he and his crew. I chose Colby because he had 5 star ratings and came recommended by locals in the area, was local, licensed & bonded, & was experienced. I was dissatisfied and would not use him again. I don’t typically review anyone, but I’m hoping the next person can choose him, or not, based on a real & true experience that I encountered.
