Found Steve via a Reddit thread. Contacted him and shipped my camera. He did a full CLA, fixed my rear film door, adjusted and fixed the shutter issues. My Canon AE-1 Program feels better than brand new. I genuinely can not believe it and I am so thankful for Steve’s craftsmanship.

I sent him my Canon New F-1—a notoriously difficult camera to repair—and he quickly identified the issue and resolved the curtain drag problem, restoring all my shutter speeds. Fast turnaround and very knowledgeable. Hopefully I won’t need his services again, but if I do, I know Steve will come through.

Im almost positive Steve went back in time and got a new camera from 1981 and sent it back to me. I sent my AE1 Program in to him to be CLA'ed and its never looked as good, or worked as well as it does now. Turn around time was very quick and the work is excellent. Can not recommend his service enough

I'm happy with my experience! Steve repaired a failed shutter on a Sony A73 for me. I called ahead and he had the part waiting when I dropped the camera off. Camera was ready for pickup when I was in town next. If you spend two minutes talking with him, you will see Steve has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to cameras and gear. Without prompting, he explained the moving parts he would be repairing by using expired parts to demonstrate. I would recommend the Camera Clinic and I'll be back as I need more repairs!
